From John Bingham.Really fun time at CSA yesterday (Saturday April 12) helping with the Royal Enfield test ride program.George Wysopal was there with info on TRS and off-road riding in general. I met a bunch of very interesting people from a wide range of ages and interests. Just felt good to be a part of the motorcycle community.

Big thanks to everyone who made it out to the club meeting at AZKKT! Here are some of the key takeaways:  Awards & Recognition AMRA Trophy Awards went to Garett Comer and Steve Hollander AMA Service Award was presented to Mike Cook AMA Safety Award went to Chuck Ivy  Copper Classic Recap 202 Big Bikes and 40 Minibikes competed! Overall racer feedback from the AMRA survey was positive, with appreciation for how well-organized the event was. Mixed opinions on the race format. Some C-class racers noted issues with the shared finish/scoring setup—they had to yield to A and B class riders at the scoring tower. This plan helps shape the future of trails across the state, from hiking and off-roading to mountain biking and horseback riding. Deadline for feedback: April 10, 2025 Your input matters! While we didn’t break any attendance records this year (Big Bikes: 202 | Minis: 38), we came close to a full house at Saturday’s Copper Classic in San Manuel! The weather gave us a little extra excitement with rain and sleet on Thursday and Friday, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to create that perfect “hero dirt.” Mini racers had the advantage of an early start, while Big Bike racers faced dry and dusty conditions by noon. Here is what TRS was up to.• Continued our strong commitment to and participation in the quarterly OHV Partners meeting with the Coronado National Forest Supervisor and his staff. • Maintained planning dialog with the USFS on 2 single-track project proposals; Patagonia Mountains and Red Spring Trail Phase II.• Completed a grant from Az.
