On Monday August 24, 2020, TRS club member Chuck Ivy presented a check made out to the San Manuel Community Schools in the amount of $2,500 to Lisa Armenta. His next visit was to the San Manuel Fire Department where he presented them with a check for $500. These donated funds were raised at the Copper Classic Restart Enduro held in San Manuel Arizona on March 7th of this year. The Copper Classic race is part of the Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association (AMRA) Arizona State Championship Series. TRS is proud to continue to give back to the San Manuel community. We look forward to the next Copper Classic in 2021.

During recent OHV Partners meeting with the Coronado National Forest, TRS made a request to improve the condition of Forest Service Road # 684 which leads to the Red Spring Trail staging area. As some of you know, pulling a bike trailer on this road from the freeway frontage road to the RST staging area was a rough go. Today we received an update from the Forest Service (Walt Keys, Road Engineering). He stated: Our road crew says they maintained the road to and through the Red Springs area. Walt. I have asked Walt for clarification if the road maintenance continued past the staging area to the intersection of FSR 684 & 4136. Awaiting a reply on that request. G
