– OHVAG: (Off-Highway Vehicle Advisory Group, part of the Az. State Parks OHV Program) Mike Cook noted that the Grant/Program Director Mickey Rogers retired, his replacement has been appointed; Matt Eberhart remains OHV Program Coordinator.

– Colorado Trip: Great memories shared by Gary & Craig (and Gary’s awesome slideshow).
– Copper Classic 2026: 20th running—theme ideas welcome! Example – Shawn Barney suggests a strong copper mining theme, inviting the copper mining museum to be on site on race day.
– Night Ride: Work is underway for a night ride in Mariana. No date set, stay tuned!
– Trail Work: Red Spring cleanup/maintenance in October, dates TBD.
– AZKKT update: Garrett Comer is now working for Turn 14. We will still have access to AZKKT for future club meetings. Next up in September.
– USFS, Sierra Vista & Nogales District Rangers: Meetings to be scheduled. Discuss aging single track project plans previously submitted.
🔧 Tech Tip:
– Beat the heat—do a full bike inspection & maintenance now so you’re ready to ride when temps drop. Do a front to back inspection of your bike. Example: check brake pads, torque check all bolts/fasteners, replace all fluids & filters, change tires if needed, check valves and battery… The list goes on. Do this so you are not “that guy” on your next ride.
Thanks again to everyone who came out—and to CSA for the hospitality. Ride on! 🏁
