TRS June Club Meeting

Here are some highlights for the June club meeting held on June 10 at AZKKT.
Making plans to have a special guest at a future club meeting, Steve Read. He has a long history in the motorcycle and automotive racing industry. Worked for Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda and Toyota race teams. Created the CRF 450 motor, worked with Ricky Carmichael and much more. Stay tuned for more about this.

There is a Team Race being organized by AZOP for July 26 at the Cinders. Mike Perry has a team set, more teams are welcome. Contact Mike if you are interested in forming a team.

The Patagonia Special Event application for TWBD has been submitted. It will be reviewed and hopefully approved at the Town Council meeting of June 25.

AMRA is considering a 2026 Pre-Season Kick-off event. Expect skills events and good times. Target date December 13.

We now have a serious candidate for the club Secretary position. More news to come.

Check your bike insurance to see if you are covered for uninsured or underinsured motorists. A recent Az. Supreme Court ruling brought attention to this type of insurance coverage.

OHV requirement observations reviewed: your OHV plate must be attached to your bike not your backpack, the OHV decal goes on your bike plate not the fork tube or headlight mask, you must renew your OHV decal every year.

Had a nice review conducted by Brad Sconzert of Alpinestars Tech-Air Off Road Air Bag system. A great product for those who do high speed ride/racing.

Final note, be aware of fire restrictions before going out to ride or camp
.
FYI: Our next club meeting will be in August, no July meeting.
