There Will Be Dust Report
Trail Riders of Southern Arizona (TRS) hosted “There Will Be Dust XII” on Saturday November 23, 2024. The event was held in Amado Arizona.
TWBD XII, a recreational trail ride raising funds for the local Community Food Bank of Amado, was staged at the Amado Territory with 136 riders attending.
Various routes were available. Some routes took the riders toward Mount Hopkins, to Lake Arivaca, and beyond. Others traversed dirt roads and trails in the Tumacacori Mountain areas. The hardiest riders took on the single-track trails of the Red Spring Trail system.
Lunch was served out on the trail, followed by dinner that evening at the Longhorn Grill and Saloon, and the evening finished off with desert and multiple raffle prizes.
Riders came from Arizona, New Mexico, California, Idaho, and Canada and TRS received excellent support from our local & regional motorcycle shops and businesses.

Special thanks go out to the owners of the Longhorn Grill & Saloon and the Amado Territory for providing the food service and staging accommodations. Also, a special thanks to the USFS, Nogales Ranger District for approving the event permit.
Because of the outstanding support by the local shops and businesses, TRS is very proud to announce a donation in the amount of $3,000 will be made to the local food bank.
Thank you to all who attended and volunteered. We hope to see you again next year.
