TRS’ August Club Meeting Recap

What an amazing turnout at last night’s club meeting with 38 dirt bike enthusiasts in attendance! A big welcome to the newcomers—we hope you enjoyed the evening.

Special shoutout to Garrett and the entire crew at AZKKT for hosting us and leading an insightful discussion on long-term motorcycle storage tips and upcoming Triumph dirt bike models. 🙌

Here’s a quick recap of the topics we covered:

There Will Be Dust XII: Great progress on permits, insurance, and meal planning.
Jersey Order: Expected to arrive in late September.
OHV Laws Investigation: Adam B. & Tim Mc. shared findings on dirt bike equipment requirements.
TRS Volunteer / Appointments Update: Current list shared; two spots are open—Marketing and Cruise Director (party planner).
TRS Board of Directors Revitalization: Board meeting held last week. No TRS Officers on the BOD and new Chairman, Steve Hollander, appointed.
Club Officer Nominations: Nominations are open, and self-nomination is allowed.
Willingham Grant Application: TRS applied for a $10K grant to offset Copper Classic and TWBD costs.
AMRA Officer Updates: New President & VP elected; Treasurer and Sponsorship Manager positions are open.
Sound Meter Replacement: Thanks to Rod, Tim Mc., and Pascal for securing a new sound meter test kit through the AMA grant program.
San Manuel Gardner Middle School Storage: Our storage room was broken into, but luckily, no supplies were stolen.
