There Will Be Dust Report
There Will Be Dust Report
On Saturday, November 21 in Amado Arizona, TRS staged their annual event, There Will Be Dust.
Because of your support and contributions, TRS was able to host another quality event for the dirt bike community and raise funds for the Amado Food Bank. The final contribution amount is being calculated right now and early indications suggest we will meet or exceed our $1,500 goal.
The participation numbers turned out to be very strong considering the current concerns over the virus. The Longhorn Grill & Saloon supported us better than we could have hoped. Their accommodations and food were top shelf. All the riders I spoke with after their ride said they enjoyed the routes and enjoyed themselves.
My helmet is off to all the TRS volunteers, family and friends that made this event possible. Our goal was to provide a quality event and I believe that goal was achieved. Also a big thanks to Boy Scout Troop #508 of Rio Rico & The USFS, Nogales Ranger District who presented the Colors to start the riders meeting.
If you were not able to attend this year, please plan to do so next year. Check out the slideshow of photos taken at this year’s event.
Finally a special thanks to the local bike shops and bike industry sponsors who pitched in merchandise for the raffle party; Tucker Powersports, On Any Moto, AZKKT, Cycle Skis & ATV, Serrano’s Motorsports & Service, Musselman’s Honda, Rocky Mountain MC/ATV, Giant Loop & RideNow.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
